The conference theme for 2025 was: Higher Education Pedagogy in a Changing Society: Solutions for Current and Future Needs. The RDI expert Maria Hofman-Bergholm presented the AimLearning project under the sub theme “Higher Education Pedagogy and Developing Collaboration with the Labour Market”, as a concrete example of a new and innovative way to enhance collaboration between the labour market and the higher education and to show how the collaboration between the UAS and the working life could be tailored.
During and after the project presentation there were discussions and reflections on the societal problems youths face today and how the project aims to, through the different learning packages, help the project participants develop as well social skills as job searching skills, future competences and develop resilience.
Pedaforum 2025 at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences gathered a large crowd of experts in the field of higher education and pedagogics, from universities and UAS throughout Finland. Interesting keynote sessions, informative presentations and engaging discussions followed each other for two days.
