Do you want to develop your skills? Do you need support for employment or studies?

The AIMlearning project is for you. We will help you develop your skills, build your career path and find new opportunities to find employment or move on to studies.

In the AIMlearning project, you get to train your skills in competence entities related to responsibility, artificial intelligence, data analytics, information security and well-being.

You will be able to work on work-based project tasks while gaining valuable experience and evidence of your competence in the very skills that companies will need in the future. Depending on your previous experience and educational background, you can acquire basic knowledge of the subject or even deeper expertise in areas such as information security.

Project tasks can be, for example:

  • Data Analytics
  • Programming tasks
  • Responsibility projects
  • Utilization of AI
  • Surveys

What does my AIMlearning period include?

Your AIMlearning period lasts 1-6 months, during which you will delve into competence themes and make related work-life-oriented training projects, through which you will also become familiar with the rules of working life. You will participate in workshops, hone your portfolio and CV, develop your job search skills, and get to know the business life and companies in the Central Ostrobothnia region. You will learn to identify your own skills and potential jobs beyond your field as well. In all activities, you will be supported by the project instructors. We also organize fun community outreach activities.

How can I participate?

You can participate in the project if you are under 29 years of age and live in Central Ostrobothnia. You do not need any previous experience in the subject, as the knowledge sets are applicable to different fields. For example, you can be a student, a recent graduate or unemployed if your period of unemployment has lasted no more than one year. Unemployed job seekers must negotiate first with the Employment Authority in order to participate. You can participate either on site at Centria Kokkola Campus or remotely.
