About the project

In the AIMlearning project, young people get to train skills that support their previous educational background and deepen their competence in AI, information security, well-being and responsibility-related competence packages that are strongly based on training and project work.

The project is co-financed by the European Union (EUR 446,363, of which the EU contribution is EUR 357,090) and will take place between 01.02.2024 and 31.01.2027.

The AIMlearning project is implemented in cooperation between Centria University of Applied Sciences and Kpedu.

Our experts will support the young person during his or her participation period. All young people under the age of 29 living in Central Ostrobothnia, regardless of previous competence or educational background, can participate in the project. Through cooperation, we aim to streamline the steering of the target group in the joint stages of studies. Our main goal is to meet, support and increase competence. We support the young person's transition to studies, study progress, and job seeking. Our goal is for young people to receive support for on-the-job learning and find employment in a job that matches their skills. We also aim to increase the competence of companies in current themes and increase understanding of different learners.

Centria produces material on competence themes that is also suitable for 2nd degree students and those graduating from it. We are also responsible for supporting unemployed jobseekers and developing the remote work trial model. In Kpedu, the measures are a precursor to what is being done in Centria. Kpedu's goal is to get students at risk of dropping out from preparatory education to fields and from fields at work to learn so that they graduate and can later enter working life or further studies.
